AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has warned Ronaldinho he will only be offered a new contract if he is committed to the club.
Ronaldinho, whose current deal runs out next summer, has recently spoken of his desire to remain at the San Siro despite having failed to secure a regular spot in Allegri’s starting XI this season.
And the Milan boss claims he would be happy to offer a new deal to the former Barcelona star if he accepts his role within the Rossoneri’s squad.
Allegri said: “Ronaldinho is working and he’s at my disposal to play.
“I believe that there must be players at Milan who want to be at Milan. Results are only obtained with the great motivation of everyone within the group.
“Neither me of the club would keep a player against his will.”
