Barcelona looks favorite, Real Madrid a close second

The Spanish Premiere League is definitely getting even more exciting as each single day is passing away. The reigning champion Barcelona is currently on the top of the table with 43 points from their 16 matches. They are looking to be in dazzling form as they breezed past Espanyol 5-1 therefore scoring 26 goals now in their last 5 matches. This win marks Barcelona’s 8th straight victory in away matches this season.


Barcelona’s arch rival Real Madrid is not lagging behind though. A late goal helped them to seal victory over Sevilla and hence they have 41 points now, just 2 points behind Barcelona playing the same number of matches.


The competing teams are now going for a 2 week long break as the Christmas season starts soon. However, with the form they are in, Barcelona is definitely looking like to be the favorite to win this time as well just like the past 2 years; however, Real Madrid cannot be ruled out either.
