Stuttgart fans have called for the board to step down after the worst first half of a season in the club's history.
Fans of struggling Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart have held a protest after their team's 5-3 defeat at home to Bayern Munich, calling on the board to resign, according to the Stuttgarter Nachrichten.Hundreds of fans gathered outside the stadium in the aftermath of the game to signal their disapproval at how the club is being run. There were also jeers from the fans at the final whistle as die Schwaben recorded their worst ever start to a Bundesliga season.
Club president Erwin Staudt attempted to address the gathering with a loudspeaker, however his words fell on deaf ears.
Stuttgart are second bottom in the table with just 12 points from 17 games. The club's new coach Bruno Labbadia is their third of the season after Christian Gross and Jens Keller.
