Tottenham Keen On January Loan Swoop For David Beckham

Harry Redknapp is keen for Tottenham to secure the services of David Beckham on loan this January, according to the London Evening Standard.

The ex-England man's MLS season with LA Galaxy ended last month and previous seasons have seen him make a loan switch to Italian giants AC Milan.

Although Redknapp may not be able to offer Beckham a place in his starting line-up, the Spurs boss is keen to add depth to the squad ahead of the gruelling second half of the season.

Beckham's name has been heavily linked with an outrageous move to join former England boss Sven Goran Eriksson at Leicester City, but the London-born midfielder has distanced himself from these rumours.

A return to the Premier League with high-flying Spurs would more than likely take his fancy, particularly as he would be eligible for the knockout stages of the Champions League.
